does anyone have a child with alopecia who can recommend a holistic approach to treatment?

My cousin has recently been diagnosed, there are only two. It does not affect the moment, but I hate to think what will happen when school starts. an advice would be appreciated. Thanks. talk to her pediatrician and dermatologist. some help because your attitude determines how well your child's illness. I have heard and tried many different holistic healing methods, like traditional (Dr.) medication, but none have ever worked for me. For many, alopecia corrects himself, never to appear. For others it is a part of your life and you learn to accept. There is no cure, but treatments are successful for many people. A strong support of family and friends the best you can give her. It is very easy for a child with alopecia should be withdrawn and have problems with self-esteem. Do your best to show her you love her the value of his own strength and value to show when she grows up. Let them know it is always, regardless of how it looks acceptable if the hair is still in its year of school age, they need your support more than ever. It will be easier after that. Please (if you have not already), see National Alopeciat Areata Foundation (www.naaf.org). You have a great support system, and thousands of information and opportunities to participate in their organization if you're interested. Send your niece a hug for me. :).

I am considering getting my degree in holistic health online. What is the best school for this kinda degree.?

Array You can see some lessons in www.proevity.com - you can open a new door for you. Learn more about glyconutrient was the beginning of a career as a wellness consultant for me. Email for more information. I go to school today Healing.Look Reduction Dr. Christopher, I'm sure you can find. It's great because I want to heal people too. As long as you understand and none of these programs are accredited by the federal government and is not really trying to be a doctor, some major programs are fine. (Also, if you decide to go to school somewhere later, the credits are not transferable.) CCNH (Clayton) is probably the greatest, but I liked better GCNM and can break his Bachelor of Science program in three distinct parts, unlike CCNH. I really did not care for the program of Christopher. It just felt more like a hard sell their own products. However, your mileage may vary. :-) Clayton College of Natural Health, Georgia. That's where I'm still studying for his doctorate, is a great school, and offer a financing program can be done online. Jump to http://www.ccnh.edu and verify. You can call and ask for Jim Farmer. It will give all the answers you need. Lynda Hardin-Poston Di tells him to call. Dr. Lynda Hardin-Poston Professional Holistic Health College Station, TX.

I'm interested in becoming a nurse, preferably in a "natural/holistic setting & not sure how to go about this.

I already have a 4-year degree in history (not sure if it even matters) and I'm exciting change from my middle management career to manage. With the economy as it is, I would like to work there, but I really want to work holistically with people to treat the patient. Are there nursing schools that you prepare for this type of work? I must be an RN first, and then extra classes? Are people even after this kind of nurse? San Francisco State University has accepted my knowledge, the only licensed holistic health programs in the U.S., and a program for medical personnel in HH classes for part of their degree. Can a place to look, or I would check into contact with one of the most important natural healing schools (Bastyr, Southwest, National College of Natural Medicine) and see if they are pursuing opportunities for you. There is usually a need for nurses. Yes, you have to do to go to nursing school to become a nurse. I would contact your local college or university, most community colleges have a RN nursing program and usually lasts for two years, but since you already have a diploma, at least you do not have basic courses, so it can go faster again. After RN with associates degree, they have a BSN is a bachelor. Depending on the reqirements of the university and what the existing bachelor's degree is in, you may even be able to BSN in two years. I would recommend this to find out what universities and colleges in your area that offer programs and talk to someone about it .

My son's school believes he has ADHD. I am trying to find a diagnostician who has a more holistic approach?

If anyone had any experience with ADHD, I would like some guidance or advice. I need a diagnosis to get special privledges to help him in school. I'm waiting for a special vitamin and mineral formula that was developed by neuroscience. I do not want to stun him with Ritalin and would be a more natural and inexpensive medical technicians and the like. Insurance does not cover much in this case. I'm all ears and would love to learn from your experiences. Thanks, Lisa, I totally applaud you! Not preferred child. Searching for a good chiropractor, they have a wealth of information and is more than willing to help you with a natural approach. Looking for a Family Chiropractor "in your community. Chiropractic is not expensive, and it's about overall health, not only will not hurt your back. Many people do not understand. Also, if you have an organic food store to health in their city, they usually have holistic medicine in these shops, and a person of a scholar working in this department, my boyfriend has ADHD can be taught to control what you need to find a good doctor, the drug is never good, but it must be a careful, because if he's going to take, and you're crazy. Teachers prefer children medicated, they are easier to handle. I'm with you on the natural way to help. My son is 5, and said possible ADHD and / or bipolar disorder. Anyone have a successful career in holistic medicine/nutrition?

I wonder if a career in this area is possible and legitimate. I am passionate about life that way, then a career in this field be a reflection of how I live. I have some online schools offering degrees in holistic health found, but I wonder if this will bring me something or I need additional training or elsewhere? I would like to have a medical practice a kind of work, I plan to holistic nutrition or a doctor. All these jobs? Advice from someone who has succeeded in this area would be helpful. Good question. I'm trying to get my certification as a practitioner of holistic medicine. I am a Reiki practitioner and I use what I have learned that planning. It really depends on them, in what area you want to study. Holistic Medicine is holistic healing professionals with a gift of one or more areas of healing. Body Workers homeopaths hypnotherapist term to describe a holistic therapist, often a challenge or understand Hopefully this article will give you some clarity on what is a holistic practitioner and how to provide your individual needs will find. Share holistic doctor is tantamount to saying doctor. Although there are general practitioners, the cross in many ways the most specialize in one or more holistic methods or areas. The main focus is centered therapists, energy-centered therapists, mind-centered therapists, soul and mind therapists, emotional release therapists centered and trainer / consultant. All of these therapists strive for a better life for their clients with them. It may be through inner balance, self-empowerment, physical ease, or caused emotional confidence. One thing is to realize that many holistic practitioners work in many areas. In fact, it is generally difficult for a doctor to be limited to one area, for example, a hypnotherapist can also be a chakra therapist, is employed in a company even a spiritual advisor, etc. In addition, because the mind-body-soul- connection is just that, connected, no matter where you start in energy work, bodywork, or even anger, you will find all the stakeholders in the work. The courses I will take to work towards a holistic therapist, Usui Reiki Master (currently do), a deepening Intuition, Life Therapy, Chakra Balancing & spiritual counseling. I know there are a number of hospitals in my area starting nurses trained in Reiki, convenient for patients to help them feel relaxed. Again, it depends on where you start and what to do. I hope this helped. In the office of my herbal remedies, there is the natural, of course. There is a nurse as a live cell analyst and is a Registered Holistic Nutritionish.

I want to know about schooling for natural health/alternative medicine?

I've always been interested in the properties of herbs, and help people overcome physical problems without resorting to medication. But I like to go a step further and go to school for it. But I live in Nebraska and is not really the thing here. In addition, I practice in an area that could think of it as a joke. I've done some research online to this school, holistic. Any reccomendations ask the hospital or call the school where they know that I am also fascinated by the natural healing and want to earn a living helping others with him. I have a package of free education in the world coolege natural medicine. GCNM.com hospital and traditional healers have no idea about something natural, because "it is approved by the FDA, as it becomes safer or somethign hahaha! The FDA is a bunch of greedy idiots, and not least, delay ! first check state laws and see what their needs. No use in taking a course that has not been recognized in your country, I was one in which a party is not recognized in this or any other country, although I really enjoyed learning. It was to start my laws, how awaire practice. Only learning science, reading peer reviewed studies of health, and then explain that the two areas are really wrong about everything, and say the opposite. Even if people say you make no sense if you do, you just start complaining about a conspiracy. You earn more credibility with each use of "Big Pharma" phrase. Looks like it would work, but it has a lot of people. Good luck! Hello'd as an answer to your question. school natural health and alternative medicine? Maybe www.gcnm.com, College World Natural Medicine is white. Sincerely, Mark Have you looked at Everglades University? Also in this group see their brand new, but growing http://health.groups.yahoo.c com / group / HolisticSunshine /'m thinking about doing the same, but the intention is the university "regular" with a degree in biology When I looked, I saw a lot of places to alternative medicine such as acupuncture, reflexology, herbal Medina Chinese, for example the network ect.I far as possible with the mind as people.maybe if there is a seminar in your area and has even given a local herbalist that you can go to be careful, however, as I am sure that there is a lot of chefs out there trying to get your money luck.

Any holistic recommendations for swollen, painful knees?

My doctor told me recently "Arthur" in my left knee. Xrayed and when I fell, it was discovered at the time. Often the knee is painful and swollen. I have other problems with this stage, including radiation from the leg numbness, burning and a feeling of "death". It hurts to stand for long periods. The doctor also said something about a "nerve" in the back that may be responsible. I have taken Ibuproven, Tylenol, etc and nothing helps the pain. It is painful to walk, unable to move up or down without the "one-one, 2-2 .step" process, my client gave me the key school elevator, but I thought it would just trust me more, I .like this better, and if I could do with some exercises and holistic medicine, I prefer the only real relief I ever got was a shot of steroids in the knee, it was heaven - but I'm only negative about them. Any ideas? Proposal? I go back to the Ortho doctor ASAP. If the knee is raised because tendonitis or other injuries (falling), icing for 10 minutes at a time, several times a day could help but I do not know if that helps with arthritis. ? Is the 'radiation in the bones of numbness, burning, dead feeling in the back of the leg, buttocks and thighs, can this be sciatica Ask doc if that is what he means by a nerve involvement -. And what more can you do besides painkillers do. Ask the doc for a prescription to a physical therapist, they know how to relieve pain without injections, medicine, etc. Or try a chiropractor is analgesia their specialty, again with drugs, etc. If the client gives you to use the elevator, with all the resources to take on: You need not suffer and it will not make you dependent, while the knee when climbing stairs and can irritate make it worse, a physical therapist can teach you exercises, muscle support. knee and reduce pain to increase over time. I've been down this road - rest and exercise are what helped me I hope this helps. I have the same problems. I had a spinal cord injury service. My doctor advised me that the plan because they are overweight. My sciatic nerve is very painful. My weight is very contibuted to this problem. Diet and exersize helped me a lot. I hope this has helped some, if it can be like me and overweight. I also tried the tramadol my doctor gave me and helped me. RICE is Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. Worked like a charm for me, to relieve pain and swelling in his left knee after a lot of exercise. From what I read, apply ice for 20 minutes every 3 hours. I used an elastic bandage to wrap the ice around my knee compression and assured me that the knee is raised above my head, and fixed. I have seen great results after 3 days and my orthopedic doctor said good job when I went to him to be sure. I also use a pair of compression with magnets that helps a lot.
